Since I posted an update on the scarf to my personal blog, I thought I'd throw a couple of pics up here, too. I'm up to 20 repeats and I find this scarf the most tiresome and tedious thing EVAR. However, I do think it's lovely, so I'll finish.
It is currently 25" long. I'm almost through with the first ball of alpaca, so I'll say I'm about half done. My plan is to continue to do 2 repeats per day until it is finished.
So here we go:
And a (moderate) close up of the stitch pattern, overtaken by a fluffy cat tail:
The color in the first pic is truer; it is really a very subdued, earthy, mustard yellow and not the bright, vibrant one in the second pic.
I'm very interested to see how it changes when blocked.
What do you think?

Que bonita!
I'm going to re-start tomorrow AM. Off to the beach with Rosa, Ramon and Kevin.
You're starting all over?
Or returning to your scarf in progress?
starting freaking over!
The beach was fantastic! I sure didn't know it would turn out to be a 12 hour odyssey. Ramon brought his uncle and we had a fantastic time in Guanica and Ponce.
Lookin' good! I love the cat tail in the pic (don't they have great timing?)!!
